Hi, it looks like it was a fair amount of effort to bend this sign, and now the metal is a more awkward shape for recycling.

Some constructive alternatives:

1. Make your own signs that share your point of view.
2. Take me up on my offer to work on a pedestrian safety project together – I would have put a ton of hours into that, and then that’s less time that I’d have to try to educate the community about the housing changes that are coming to our city. I’d still be delighted to have people to work with on projects like that, and I’m sure there are lots of other things we agree on and could do useful work toward.

For anyone else reading this, there actually are quite a few signs missing, and I think that in most cases they’ve really disappeared, but it’s also possible that they’re hiding in bushes somewhere. The one above was folded up and hidden behind a wall. If you see one that needs to be retrieved, please let me know so that I can get it. I don’t want these to end up littering our neighborhoods!
